BuildGib is a public-facing directory and review platform for Gibraltar trades. Listing details may come from public sources, business submissions, claim requests, and user reports. Published profiles, ratings, review text, review titles, service dates, replies, and approved review images are intended to be visible to the public.

If you submit a review, reply, listing request, claim, or image, you give BuildGib permission to host, display, store, format, and moderate that content for the operation of the platform, dispute handling, trust and safety work, and legal compliance.

You must use BuildGib lawfully and provide accurate information. Reviews must be based on your own genuine experience with the business and must stay relevant to the job carried out.

Do not post anything false, misleading, malicious, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, obscene, privacy-invasive, or otherwise unlawful. Do not post private contact details, payment data, identity documents, signatures, or images you do not have permission to share.

Do not use a public review to accuse a person or business of a crime, fraud, theft, regulatory breaches, discrimination, or unsafe conduct. If you believe something serious happened, report it to BuildGib privately with supporting material so it can be reviewed.

If you state facts, they must be facts you can support from first-hand experience. If you share an opinion, make it clear that it is your opinion and keep it anchored to the work, communication, timing, price, or outcome you actually experienced.

BuildGib may ask a reviewer or a business for clarifying information, supporting documents, or a correction. We may unpublish content while it is under review, publish a correction, or remove content where we consider that necessary.

User reviews and business replies are user-submitted content. BuildGib does not guarantee that every listing or review is complete, current, or error-free, and BuildGib is not a party to any contract between a customer and a business.

BuildGib may screen, flag, limit, edit formatting, withhold, or remove content, suspend accounts, and restrict access where there is a trust and safety concern or where content may expose any person to civil or criminal liability. Reports can be made through the contact page.

Businesses claiming a profile must keep their public information reasonably accurate and up to date. A business may reply to a review but may not alter or interfere with the review itself.

If a business believes a review is false, defamatory, inaccurate, or privacy-invasive, it should report the review promptly and explain why. BuildGib may request evidence from either side before deciding whether the content should remain public.
