BuildGib collects the information needed to run accounts, publish business profiles, process listing and claim requests, collect reviews, and moderate disputes. That may include account details, listing details, review text, ratings, service dates, images, report history, and internal moderation notes.

Where listing information is sourced from public material or provided by the business itself, we may use it to create or improve a public business profile.

Business profile information is intended to be public. Published reviews are also public, including the star rating, review title, review text, service date, business replies, and any approved review images.

Only submit content that you are comfortable making public. BuildGib may retain copies of submitted content, reports, and moderation records even if a review is later edited, unpublished, or removed.

We do not intentionally publish private account details such as your login credentials, private email address, internal report notes, or evidence submitted privately for moderation unless disclosure is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.

We ask users not to include private personal data in reviews. If that happens, we may redact or remove the content.

We use personal data to operate the service, authenticate users, publish and manage listings, collect and display reviews, respond to claims and reports, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

For Gibraltar users, personal data processing is governed by the Data Protection Act 2004 and the Gibraltar GDPR. Those rules require personal data to be processed lawfully and fairly and give users rights such as access, rectification, and, in some cases, erasure.

If you believe a listing, review, reply, or image contains inaccurate personal data, unlawful content, or material that should not be public, contact BuildGib and explain the issue clearly. We may ask for evidence before we decide whether to correct, restrict, or remove the content.

BuildGib may preserve relevant records where needed for moderation, fraud prevention, legal advice, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal rights.
